James O’Sullivan, Fine Gael member of Greystones Town Council, has recently published a ‘Progress Report’. During the 2009 Local Elections Councillor O’Sullivan promised to keep in regular contact with the residents of Greystones on various issues in the town and provide updates to key long-term projects in the area.
Speaking after publishing his ‘Progress Report’ for Summer 2012, Councillor O’Sullivan, “Many people find that politicians disappear when there isn’t an election underway. This could be said of many public representatives, including some Councillors in Wicklow. However, we’re not all the same and I’ve always strived to stay in touch with my constituents and provide regular updates on what is happening at local government level in Greystones.”
“In light of this, I’m delighted to be launching my ‘Progress Report’ this summer. I have been working tirelessly on behalf of the people of Greystones for the past three years in order to improve our community. In this Progress Report, I’ve outlined some recent achievements and projects I’m involved with. I am always mindful of the promise I made that I would continue to be active and easily accessible as a public representative.”
“I’m delighted to have had many of my local team of volunteers delivering this leaflet to North Wicklow in recent weeks and look forward to continuing to work on behalf of the community”, concluded Councillor O’Sullivan.
