Councillor James O’Sullivan was elected to Greystones Town Council in June 2009 as the youngest ever Public Representative in County Wicklow

 

About Councillor O’Sullivan:

 

  • Educated locally in St. Bridget’s & St. Kevin’s National Schools and St. David’s Secondary School, before studying Economics & Politics in UCD
  • Currently Chairperson of Scouting Ireland in Wicklow and a local Scout Leader in Greystones.
  • On the Board of Management of the Greystones Peoples Project
  • Heavily involved in campaigning for the establishment of a Wicklow Hospice
  • A member of the Greystones Fair Trade Group
  • Former National Director of Communications on the Young Fine Gael National Executive
  • Former Youth Representative on Greystones Joint Policing Committee
  • Former Head Boy of St. David’s Secondary in Greystones
  • Son of Eddie & Rita O’Sullivan, brother of Yvonne, Edel, and Patrick
